How to Create an Order?

You can create an order in two ways.

1. By Order Booking Form

Please follow the below mentioned steps to create an order by order booking form.

  1. On the left navigation screen, click on Orders Page.

  2. Click on + New Order

  3. On the Order Form, select your pick up address, enter order information, customer information and package information.

  4. Click on Create Order after filling all the details.

  5. On the Order Form, select your pick up address, enter order information, customer information and package information.

  6. Click on Create Order after filling all the details.

  7. On clicking the Create Order Button, your order will be booked and a carrier and tracking number will be assigned to your order if your account is of carrier automation.

  8. If your account is of carrier choice, on clicking the Create Order Button, you will see a dialogue box from which you can select the carrier after checking the estimated rate for any shipping mode as per your perference.

  9. Click on the “Book” button to book the order with the carrier of your choice.

  10. Once your order is successfully booked, your order will be moved to Shipments page from where you can refer to the tracking number and download the shipping label and more further for the processing.

2. By Uploading Orders Excel

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Orders Page.

  2. Click on Upload Order.

  3. Download the Sample file by clicking Download Sample and refer to the sample data.

  4. Fill the details in the Sample Order Sheet.

  5. Click on Choose File and select the Order Sheet.

  6. Click on Import to book the orders.

  7. Please note, the orders uploaded by the excel sheet will be directly booked and will show on Shipments Page.

  8. If there is any error in the sheet, it will show an error message and you click the download button to download the error file which will have the error reason column, you can fix your file and can upload the order file again.


How to Book an Imported Order?

Orders which are created via New Order Form, bulk excel sheet upload or via API intergartion will be automatically booked and will display on Shipments Page for further processing.

For the orders which are imported from connectors needs to be booked. Please follow the mentioned steps to book an imported order:

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Orders Page.

  2. Click on Book button for booking a particular order.

  3. If you want to book the orders in bulk, select the check boxes of the orders and click on Book button for booking the orders in bulk.

  4. After the order is successfully booked, it will move to the Shipments Page.


Can I Edit an Imported Order Before Order Booking?

You can edit the orders which are showing on Orders page by following the below mentioned steps:

  1. Double click on the order to open the order details page.

  2. You can see three buttons Edit, Book and Cancel.

  3. On clicking the Edit, it will open the editable order form on which you can edit the order details. There you will have two options: “Save” and “Save & Book”.

  4. On clicking “Save”, edited order details will get saved only and will show on Orders page.

  5. On clicking “Save & Book”, order will be booked with the edited order details and will move to Shipments page.

Note: Cancelled Orders showing on Orders page cannot be edited.


Can I Edit an Order After Booking?

No, order cannot be edited after booking, it can only be cancelled.


Can I Delete an Order?

An order cannot be deleted. It can be edited before booking and can be cancelled before booking or after booking before pick up.


How Can I Rebook an Order?

You can rebook an order by following the below mentioned steps:

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Shipments.

  2. Double click on the order you want to rebook, it will open the shipment details page.

  3. You can see six buttons Rebook, Book-Reverse, Cancel, Download, Previous & Next

  4. Click on the Rebook button

  5. It will open the order form on which you can edit customer details. You will have to input the Order ID and Select the date.

  6. Click on Submit after editing the details as per your requirement.

  7. On clicking the Submit Button, your order will be booked and a carrier and tracking number will be assigned to your order if your account is of carrier automation.

  8. If your account is of carrier choice, on clicking the Submit Button, you will see a dialogue box from which you can select the carrier after checking the estimated rate for any shipping mode as per your perference.

  9. Click on the “Book” button to book the order with the carrier of your choice.

  10. Once your order is successfully booked, your order will shown on Shipments page from where you can refer to the tracking number and download the shipping label and more further for the processing.


How Can I Book a Reverse Order?

There are two ways by which you can book a reverse order

Please follow the steps to book a reverse order by new order booking form.

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Orders.
  2. Click on New Order.
  3. On the Order Form, select your pick up address, enter order information, customer information and package information.

  4. Make sure to select the Order Type as Reverse. Please Note: The customer address will be treated as the pickup address for this order and the warehouse address will be treated as the delivery address

  5. Click on Create Order after filling all the details.

  6. On clicking the Create Order Button, your order will be booked and a carrier and tracking number will be assigned to your order if your account is of carrier automation.

  7. If your account is of carrier choice, on clicking the Create Order Button, you will see a dialogue box from which you can select the carrier after checking the estimated rate for any shipping mode as per your perference.

  8. Click on the “Book” button to book the reverse order with the carrier of your choice.

  9. Once your reverse order is successfully booked, your order will shown on Shipments page from where you can refer to the tracking number and carrier.

  10. Please Note: Shipping Label and Manifest is not required for the reverse orders, thus you will not find the download label button on any of the reverse orders.

Alternate method to book a reverse order if you want to book reverse for an order whose forward order was also processed at Shyplite, please follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Shipments.

  2. Double click on the order you want to book reverse of, it will open the shipment details page.

  3. You can see six buttons Rebook, Book-Reverse, Cancel, Download, Previous & Next.

  4. Click on the Book-Reverse button.

  5. It will open the order form on which you can edit customer details. You will have to input the Order ID and Select the date.

  6. Click on Submit after editing the details as per your requirement.

  7. On clicking the Submit Button, your reverse order will be booked and a carrier and tracking number will be assigned to your reverse order if your account is of carrier automation.

  8. If your account is of carrier choice, on clicking the Submit Button, you will see a dialogue box from which you can select the carrier after checking the estimated rate for any shipping mode as per your perference.

  9. Click on the “Book” button to book the reverse order with the carrier of your choice.

  10. Once your reverse order is successfully booked, your order will shown on Shipments page from where you can refer to the tracking number and carrier.

  11. Please Note: Shipping Label and Manifest is not required for the reverse orders, thus you will not find the download label button on any of the reverse orders.


From Where to Download Shipping Label for an Order?

After booking an order successfully, please follow the steps to download shipping label for a single order

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Shipments.

  2. Click on download icon on that shipment to download the shipping label.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to download shipping label in bulk

  1. Click on the check boxes of the orders for which you need to download the labels.

  2. Click on the Download button.


What is a Manifest? From Where Can I Download a Manifest?

A manifest is a proof that you have handed over your orders to the carrier. We advise you to download the manifest and print two copies and get both signed by the pickup person and handover a copy for his record and keep the other copy for your record.

After booking an order successfully, please follow the steps to download the manifest

  1. On the left navigation screen click on Manifest.

  2. Click on download icon to download the manifest.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to download the manifest in bulk

  1. Click on the check boxes of the manifests that you want to download.

  2. Click on the Download button to download the manifest.

Note:

  • Once the Manifest is downloaded, the status will update from “Open” to “Closed”.
  • In case you do not close the manifest, the new orders will merge in the open manifests.
